Welcome!

Welcome to the South Jersey Outdoors blog. This blog is an extension of my outdoors column in the Courier Post. I hope to use this blog as a way to offer more links, pictures, product reviews, and other useful tips that I can't fit into my regular column.

Although I spend most of my time fishing, I am also an avid bowhunter, camper, and hiker, so I will be exploring these topics as well. There are hundreds of great websites geared toward the outdoor enthusiasts, but not many that deal with our area. Hopefully, you'll find the information here useful and check back often!

If there is something you'd like me to discuss or have a question about feel free to send an email to: sjoutdoors at gmail dot com

Lake Lenape Hot Spots

One of my favorite spots to fish in South Jersey is Lake Lenape in Mays Landing. Even if the fishing is slow the lake is a great place to enjoy being outside. For the adventurous, a trek to the very back of the lake will bring you to some secluded hot spots that are closely guarded by a pair of Bald Eagles. Here are some of my favorite spots on the lake.
